Presentation Guidelines:

  • Oral Presentation - 15 mins incl questions

    • All rooms are equipped with display screens and a lectern microphone

    • Please ensure any video or audio files embedded in your presentation are also brought with you as separate files

    •  .ppt (powerpoint) files are preferred

    • Screens are 16:9 ratio

    • Please save your presentation on a USB stick, and upload the file at the registration desk on arrival at the conference venue: this should be done at least 2 sessions prior to your presentation time.

    • Please bring a backup copy of your presentation with you in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

  • Lightning Talk - 5 mins no questions

  • ​Poster Presentation - A0 - portrait orientation

  • Print your poster and bring it with you to the conference

  • Poster boards with velcro dots will be supplied at the conference 

  • Posters should be on display throughout the conference

  • ​All presenters should be present at their poster, during the poster session, to answer questions about their work

Abstract Submission
Topics include:

The conference organising committee invites you to participate in the 2025 AMSN Conference. We are seeking abstracts that relate to a wide range of topics including:
 

  • Biodiversity, blue carbon and restoration

  • Climate change, wetland stressors, responses and adaption

  • Biophysical processes and morphology

  • Indigenous and community perspectives

  • Law, policy and planning

Conditions of Submission

  • Late submissions will not be accepted.

  • A condition of acceptance is that at least one author presents, in person, at the conference.   

  • The presenting author will be required to register for the Conference to ensure their abstract(s) is included in the final programme. The deadline for presenting author registration is 30 September 2025. Similarly, no speaker fee is paid to authors or presenters.

  • It is the responsibility of the submitting author to ensure the accuracy of the content, spelling, grammar and formatting of the abstract, as it will be published as it is submitted.

  • By submitting an abstract, you also grant the Committee permission to share the live version of your presentation to other registered attendees, publish the abstract and presentation in the Conference Proceedings in hard copy and/or electronic format.

Notification of Acceptance

Notification of acceptance has been sent via email, to the submitting author, on the 8th of September 2025.
