Abstract Submission / Presentation Guidelines:

Abstracts are invited for Oral or Poster presentations

Abstracts must not exceed 250 words
-
All abstracts are to be submitted via the submission portal here by 15 August 2025

All presenters will be notified of confirmed presentation type (oral or poster) and acceptance by 1 Sept 2025
-
Poster format - A0 portrait orientation
-
Print your poster and bring it with you to the conference
-
Poster boards with velcro dots will be supplied at the conference
-
Posters should be on display throughout the conference
-
All presenters should be present at their poster, during the poster session to answer questions about their work

If your presentation is selected for oral presentation, you will be given further details at the time of notification.

The conference organising committee invites you to participate in the 2025 AMSN Conference. We are seeking abstracts that relate to a wide range of topics including:

Biodiversity, blue carbon and restoration
-
Climate change, wetland stressors, responses and adaption
-
Biophysical processes and morphology
-
Indigenous and community perspectives
-
Law, policy and planning
Conditions of Submission

Late submissions will not be accepted.

A condition of acceptance is that at least one author presents, in person, at the conference.

The presenting author will be required to register for the Conference to ensure their abstract(s) is included in the final programme. The deadline for presenting author registration is 30 September 2025. Similarly, no speaker fee is paid to authors or presenters.

It is the responsibility of the submitting author to ensure the accuracy of the content, spelling, grammar and formatting of the abstract, as it will be published as it is submitted.

By submitting an abstract, you also grant the Committee permission to share the live version of your presentation to other registered attendees, publish the abstract and presentation in the Conference Proceedings in hard copy and/or electronic format.
Notification of Acceptance
Notification of acceptance will be sent via email, to the submitting author, by the 1st of September 2025.
